Welcome to FEMFEST 5.0 2022

Theme: Strengthening Islamic Economy and Management Through Financial Technology Enhancement Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic

FEMFEST is a series of annual agendas that aim to serve as a means of education and socialization in arousing the passion and enthusiasm of UNIDA's internal and external students. This event aims to explore several strategies in the recovery of the Islamic economic sector in the 5.0 industry period which is currently unstable or even declining due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Faculty of Economics and Management has successfully collaborated with various universities both nationally and internationally, including universities in the United States, the Netherlands, France, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, Jordan, Morocco, South Korea, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, and various other national universities. FEM has also succeeded in collaborating with the government including BI, OJK, both the head office and the East Java representative office, BAPEDDA, ​​BAPENAS and several non-governmental empowerment organizations (NGOs), then Sharia Economic Organizations such as IAEI both central and regional Ponorogo, FORDEBI, ADESy, World Zakat Forum, KNEKS, and Private Companies in Indonesia.

2022 is the fifth year that FEMFEST 5.0 activities will be implemented. The main agenda is International Webinars, Training for Trainers, Tabligh Akbar, E-Days (Entrepreneur Days), Islamic Economics Competition (IESCO), and a series of other FEMFEST events. FEMFEST is expected to be able to build synergies between practitioners, experts, academics, and stakeholders to support the current revival of the Islamic economy, business, and finance.

Welcome to the The 1st FEMFEST International Conference on Economics, Management and Business 2022 (FICCOMSS-2022), organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor, under the theme “Strengthening Islamic Economy and Management Through Financial Technology Enhancement Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic”.


The International Webinar was held as the grand opening of FEMFEST 5.0 with a big theme of activity. This webinar discusses the ability of Islamic Economics and Management in providing solutions and answering all the problems and challenges that exist during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, so that the economy can recover.


FEM Robic is a gymnastics event with the entire family and the academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) along with the Chancellor of the University of Darussalam Gontor and his staff.


The Training of Trainer (ToT) event is a series of activities from FEMFEST 5.0 which contains training for trainers and is held with the main theme of activities that have been determined.


The Islamic Economics Competition (IESCO) is one of a series of FEMFEST 5.0 events, which will be held virtually. This event is an annual event of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Darussalam Gontor University. This event aims to increase friendship between Islamic Economics students and as a forum to gather ideas and ideas from students about the development of Islamic Economics in Indonesia, especially related to the role of Islamic economics in the Covid-19 pandemic era.


Entrepreneur-Days is one of a series of events from the Faculty of Economics and Management Festival (FEMFEST) which will be held at Darussalam Gontor University. This activity has the theme “Millennial Generation Innovation in Creating the Latest Businesses with an Islamic Perspective to Compete in the New Normal Era.” A series of E-days 2022 events include the National Business Model Canvas Competition (NMBCC), National Business Case Competition (NBCC), Scientific Festival, Children Qur'anic Education Event (CQEE) and the Snack Festival.


This event is one of the initiatives of the UNIDA Faculty of Economics and Management to provide support and appreciation to Islamic business actors. Several categories were appointed in the FEM Award such as Economic Empowerment Figures, Best Mosque Management, Best Start Up, Best BMT, and Best Gontor Business Unit.


The Tabligh Akbar event at FEMFEST 4.0 is one of the da'wah events that are beneficial for youth and the community regarding Da'wah in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Welcome to the The 1st FEMFEST International Conference on Economics, Management and Business 2022 (FICCOMSS-2022), organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor, under the theme “Strengthening Islamic Economy and Management Through Financial Technology Enhancement Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic”.

FICCOMSS-2022 aims to generate a platform for scholars, intellectuals, and experts to engage and generate discussion on current local and global challenges, as well as to provide opportunities for participants to reveal and share new ideas and insights.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the globe encounters several challenges. To adapt rapidly and accurately in the present circumstances, technology optimization is a crucial terms. Various activities in the fields of economics, management and business, among several others, can be maintained properly. Furthermore, effective technological optimization can accelerate the improvement of the structure of ideas, constructs, and long-term deployment in the aforementioned areas.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in numerous travel restrictions, both domestically and internationally. The conference will be hosted online/virtually utilizing the zoom platform, in accordance with the FICCOMS-2022 theme. This is one way to make use of existing technology, thereby presenters (E-Conference) from both inside and outside the country can join the conference.


  • A. All papers should be submitted via online email: ficcomss2022@unida.gontor.ac.id
  • B. Paper submissions must comply with the following guidelines:
    • 1. Introduction (Research background and objectives)
    • 2. Methodology (Data, Method of Estimation Technique and Model)
    • 3. Literature review (Theory and related previous study)
    • 4. Result and Analysis
    • 5. Conclusion (Conclusion and recommendation).
  • C. The language of paper will be in ‘English’. A limited number of papers will be allowed to be presented in Arabic
  • D. Writing Format:
    • 1. Full paper should not exceed 20 pages, A4, 1 spacing, Times New Roman 12
    • 2. Abstract is recommended to be between 150-200 words.
    • 3. Reference must be written using Reference Software (Latex, Mendeley, etc), with Harvard referencing system.
